Editorial Policy

Sources

• Operational information — registration, timings, routes, helicopter, battery car, ropeway, accommodation and rules — is based on Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board publications wherever possible, supplemented by government sources (Indian Railways, the India Meteorological Department, J&K Tourism) and established news organisations.
• We do not publish fares or prices for Shrine Board services that change frequently. Instead, we link to the official portal.
• Every page records its sources internally, and shows the date it was last reviewed.

Religious content

We present beliefs and legends respectfully, and label them as tradition. We do not present religious tradition as established historical or scientific fact.

Advisories

We publish advisories only when they are backed by an official source, and we always name that source. We never create alerts of our own.

Commercial content

Directory listings may be free, featured or sponsored. Sponsored content is always labelled. Payment never affects our editorial guides or the facts we publish.
