Mansar Lake is a beautiful lake fringed by forest-covered hills, about 60 km from Jammu. Boating is available, and J&K Tourism has traditionally organised a food and crafts festival here around Baisakhi.

Together with its twin, Surinsar, Mansar is part of the Surinsar–Mansar Lakes Ramsar site, a wetland of international importance. Shrines on the lake shore are visited by local devotees, and the lake is home to many fish and turtles.

J&K Tourism accommodation and a restaurant have operated at the lake.
