Monsoon caution
Between July and September, heavy rain can trigger landslides and falling stones on the mountain. The Yatra is suspended when conditions are unsafe — as it was for about three weeks after the landslide near Adhkuwari on 26 August 2025. Follow official advisories, and never shelter near drains or loose slopes.
