These sample plans assume you arrive in Katra by train or road. Adjust them for your fitness, the season and crowd levels, and always leave a buffer for waiting days or weather suspensions.

| Day 2 | Register early (cross Banganga within six hours). Climb to the Bhawan, have darshan, visit Bhairon Temple (on foot or by ropeway) and return to Katra by night. |

| Day 4 | Return to Jammu via Jhajjar Kotli, with time for Amar Mahal before your onward journey. |
